let your body die

Cyber-Tec Project - Let Your Body Die (Birmingham 6 Convulsive Dance Mix)

kind of old school industrial/EBM. i think it holds up well for being 8 or 9 years old. Cyber-Tec Project was an industrial supergroup with members of Front 242 and Cubanate. they released one album as "Cyber-Tec Project" in 1995 or 1996. It only had a few songs (including the original of this track) and a bunch of remixes of those songs, so it may not even be fair to call it an "album". it's a little hard to track down; you can try to get it used, get it from amazon.de, or download it. they continued on as just "Cyber-Tec" with a slightly different lineup and released a few albums.

i'm actually not crazy about most of their stuff and Birmingham 6 doesn't do much for me either, but for some reason, i really like this mix. it's just total over the top, unapologetic industrial cliché and i love it.

Great song. It was released on about 200 different compilations in the early 90's as well.

Yay, futuristic vocoders! Sinister vocals about doom! Inferior techno bleeps! Where did I put my mirrored sunglasses?

Oh yea, One of the few CD's I bought last year was the new F242 and this sounds so much like it. Really hear the influences, if you like this you dig the new stuff. Hey mirrored glasses were part of my own stage stick back in the 90's, man was I predictable or what, HA!
