The Presidents of the United States of America - Some Postman. Well, after quite a hiatus, and some sidework with Sir Mix-A-Lot, PUSA have returned in an election year to drop another bucket of pop. The album came out yesterday, and you can buy it here. They also have it available as a bundle with a Chris Ballew solo album, a poster and a sticker, which is kinda fun.

As for the song, I'll let you decide. I also wanted to post their b-side Candy Cigarette off of the Peaches single, because it's awesome. But I can't find my copy anywhere.

*bonus*: PUSA - Candy Cigarette. If you ever get the chance, pick up the Peaches maxi-single. It's one of the better singles from the late 90s. Every song is this good.

Ah, Peaches. Nice,wonderful memories of ninjas on the box-block, before MTV bought'em.

I'll have to tell my sister about this, she still cares about the POT-USA.

in the meantime, Chris Ballew is a cool guy. I remember he even paradied Peaches for Bill Nye the Science Guy on PBS. Good times.

ha. I was under the misguided delusion they totally sucked, until the FNX/phoenix best music poll show on Landsdowne St. this year.
They actually kind of rock, in the I-feel-like-I'm-14-jumping-up-and-down-at-a-show-for-the-first-time way. sometimes, you need a break from the shoegazing and headbobbing.
