PSA -- Record Moving Time

I've mentioned this before, but we have a lot more readers now. So, here's the story: A good chunk of my record collection is stuck in the basement of my old apartment in Cambridge, MA. It's about 200 LPs and probably an equal number of 45s. A lot of it is old funk and soul records, some hip hop, some old rock, etc. It's pretty decent stuff, and I'd love to have it back.

The problem is that none of my friends can go get it, and the house is going to be sold in about a week. I need someone to go get it for me, ASAP. So, if there are any readers out there in Boston who want to help me out, we can totally negotiate a fee. I just need someone to go get the boxes out of the basement and hold them for about two weeks or so until I can have someone come get them from you. I'm sure we can work something out where you take a chunk of the records or whatnot, and some cash. We'll see.

Seriously. I hate to be begging for this on the blog, but I gotta do what I gotta do.

Any takers? Email me over at the contact address on the right, or leave a comment below. Thanks in advance.

Stupid? Blind? Not Logged In? Anyway, not seeing any "contact address on the right", but I work in Cambridge, feel your pain, and own a pickup truck. Looks like I might be your guy.

I'm tanpiover2 and I receive email at my gmail account, which is at gmail.com (take that, spambots).

Get in touch and let me know what's gotta be done to coordinate this (building access, pickup/dropoff, etc.). Depending on where in Cambridge, I'd have no problem helping you out just for the good karma. But if you insist on payment, I'll be happy to do it in exchange for 1 LP from your collection, my choice. :)
