I can't get this song out of my head.
ShushShush is the solo project of a wonderful fella named Than Luu, who is a part of the Four Volts among many other bands. he's currently running around with the likes of the Killers, and IMHO he needs to drop everything and finish this album. and fast. this track comes straight from the artist, and he'd like to stress that this is unmastered, unfinished and a very rough edit, but god DAMN man, could you get any catchier? to me, this track is a damn near perfect pop rock song. the lyrics put a familiar spin on a familiar theme, though avoid cliche entirely. the production is diverse, and fuzzed out to build a cozy, fun-as-hell crescendo that bores right into your pleasure center from your eardrums. you'll catch yourself humming parts of this song for the next day and half, and so far after three days of listening it hasn't lost its appeal for me. there's no album to buy yet, but feel free to shoot him a line and tell him what a fine job he's doing [show some love]. I can't wait to buy the rest of the CD when he finishes it.
