To start the week off right

"Won't Bother Me" comes from the first volume of Plant's The Sound of Young New York - this is the vinyl version of the song, thus there's an intermittant crackle near the beginning of the track - This is my favorite cut from the record: the solid breakbeat and that funky, rumbly bassline that chases it. Solid.
There's also a mixed-CD version of TSOYNY that has some other great songs on it, including the DFA mix of Metro Area's "Orange Alert," plus there's a cool remake of Sexual Harassment's 80s underground hit "If I Gave You a Party" by Syrup, and the Rapture does a re-work version of Rinôçérôse's "The Music Kills Me." If, like myself, you're a fan of this kind of dancey-rocky-poppy thing, I highly suggest buying yourself a copy, either from your local independant retailer, or here.
The Glass have been working solidly since this song was released in 2003, and have remixed Rinocerose, Les Clones and Secret Frequency Crew. Very much worth noting as well is that there is a second volume of TSOYNY (it came out about a month ago), which has a bunch more goodies and features a new song by The Glass - you can get it here.
Oh yeah, and Happy Halloween!
