free dental work

walls of jericho My favorite hardcore band, Walls of Jericho, are on tour again. If you've been thinking about getting some teeth pulled, come to one of the shows and you might get lucky and get it kicked out in a mosh pit for free. If you're really lucky, maybe Candace (WoJ's vocalist) will personally kick your teeth in for you!

Here's "There's No I in Fuck You" from their latest album "All Hail The Dead", which you can buy directly from Trustkill Records, or through Insound or Amazon. Trustkill also has videos for "There's No I in Fuck You" and "Playing Soldier Again" online.

I don't know if it's just me getting old, but the mosh pits I've seen at hardcore shows in the last couple years have been orders of magnitude more violent than what I saw even five years ago. It's not really about circle pits and pogoing anymore it seems. Now there's flying spin kicks and broken noses and teeth flying. Fun to watch from a safe distance but I'm feeling less inclined to participate these days. Moshing has always been aggressive and a little dangerous, but it used to not actually be about trying to hurt other people. There's still great hardcore music being made and played, but now I feel too old to dive into a pit like I might've when I was eighteen.

i agree, if you dont like it, dont listen to it, unless your three year old is twisting your arm, that shouldent be too hefty of a concept, right?

real hardcore is dead. it died out way back in the 80s. this new shit is a bunch of fagget breakdowns that all sound the exact same. and the "moshing" is even gayer. they either look like fucking gorillas or ninjas. i wish i could bring back the days of REAL hardcore, like minor threat, 7 seconds, and bad brains.
