El Ten Eleven
El Ten Eleven - Lorge. These guys are definitely my current favorite band. I posted them about a month ago, and here I am reposting, because it's so good. Also, everyone in Los Angeles, should go to their show tonight. It's at the scene bar in Glendale, and it's only five bucks. Show starts around 10, with El Ten Eleven going on... well... at 11.

El Ten Eleven make wonderful instrumental indie rock that's both familiar and new. While not quite as epic as God Speed You Black Emperor, or as mysterious as Sigur Ros, the El Ten kids (there are two of them) carve out an interesting niche without retreading too much ground.

You can pick up their self-titled cd from CD Baby. I highly recommend it. It's become an "indie pick" at Amoeba records recently, since so many folks have been picking it up.
