remix, remaster, rejoice!

so, everyone remembers the Hysterics, right? they're recording currently and getting ready to begin performing around NYC (their co-vocalist/guitarist Charlie is current out of state) in the near future. here's a tidbit of what they've been working on:

The Hysterics - Mostly Untitled

this was the song that started it all, written by Oliver (I think), recorded as detailed in the comments of this post, and discovered by MTV, leading to their story on the band. so they've re-recorded the song as a band, with Oliver on Piano and the rest of the gang picking up the rest of the ticket, and it's just as good, if not better than the original. try it. you'll like it.

again, shows and CD release TBA, but in the coming weeks most likely. stay tuned.

i just bought a mac after using a pc for years. doesn't anyone know how to save these mp3s on a mac? everytime i click the link it opens a new window and starts playing the song in quicktime but it never saves it to my computer. before with the pc all i had to do was right click and save as. now i'm don't know what i'm doing. any help is appreciated.

Miles, you can do the same thing - right click i mean, or hold control and click the link and it will give you the same dialog, or you can hold option and click on the link and it will save it automatically...
or you can get real fancy and set up safari or firefox (tell me you're not using IE) to download the song and automatically save it to your iTunes library.

Ah! thanks blair, you saved my life. i wouldn't have bought the new computer if it meant i couldn't download from mfr anymore. my nerves are now put to rest. thanks so much

Hrm. I came across this, and had the same problem, but I need to ask a question. How do you set safari up so that it saves it to the iTunes library? I want to do that, but I don't know how.

i love these kids there awesome. i seen it on mtv and had to check it out. i seen it last night and brought it into my boss to hear he was playing it through the store today.
