All the Girls are Bummers
I know this is old news. And if you're a Belle and Sebastian fan, you heard this last year. But I was thinking, if you haven't been a fan before, you might not have heard this, and might not know how good these guys (and girls) are at foolin'around. This is the remix version of the epic track "Your Cover's Blown" from the Books EP. The full version has been called B&S's "Bohemian Rhapsody" although you could also compare it to "Good Vibrations". It's a pop song in movements. But when you boil off the treacle all that's left is a funky little number.
The truth is, I accidentally hit repeat on my iPod on a 9-hour flight back from Rome on Friday and this track was played over and over again while I slept for hours. The only way to exorcise a funky demon like that is to pass it along.
