LA Events

Helio Sequence

For those of you in LA, be sure to check out Robot Faves The Helio Sequence tonight (3/11) at Spaceland. That's where I'll be. The band puts on an amazing show for a two-piece. Well worth it. Plus it's part of Spaceland's 10th anniversary celebration, which is always fun.

Elsewhere, Dios Malos is at the El Rey with Pretty Girls Make Graves, and experimental metal gods Isis will be at the Knitting Factory. If that's not your bag, you can always check out the Futureheads and the Shout Out Louds at Fonda Music Box.

On Saturday you can check out the Unicorn/Th' Corn Gang at the Echo. Or you can go see Kasabian, the Music and Morningwood at the Music Box. Your choice though...

i went to the Kasabian/The Music show ... two great bands ... but i cant see them "breakin" big in the USA ... if it isnt already, i'm sure "processed beats" by Kasabian will be a sexy new car commercial soon ...
