Oh. My. God.

not Elk, but:
"Hulkster in Heaven" by Hulk Hogan & The Wrestling Boot Band

I read it in the paper, I saw it on TV
I guess there'll be one empty seat, When I wrestle at Wimbledy.
I used to tear my shirt, But now you tore my heart.
I knew you were a Hulkamaniac, Right from the very start. (Right from the start)

Chorus: You were my friend, I'll see you again (This is not the end)
When the Hulkster comes to heaven (Heaven, heaven, heaven) We'll tag up again. (Again, again)

The world just lost another Hulkamaniac. (A friend to the end) (I'll see you again)
I wish Hulk's love could bring you back again.
You were my friend, And I'll see you again. (I will see you again)

When I climb back in the ring, You know we'll win this fight.
I wish you were here at ringside, To cheer me on tonight. (Oooooooooh)
The spotlight now grows dim, But now it's not on me.
The prayers we said together, Are still our guarantee.

Chorus

(The world just lost my friend.) (He's my friend.)
You were my friend (You were)
I'll see you again (I'll see you)
When the Hulkster comes to heaven (Heaven. Heaven)
We'll tag up again. (Again)
The world just lost another Hulkamaniac, I wish Hulk's love could bring you back again (Bring you back. Bring you back again)

(You were my friend)

The CD, Hulk Rules features other amazing songs like: "Hulkster's in the House," "Hulkster's Back," "I Want To Be A Hulkamaniac," and "Beach Patrol" (what?) - is available at a bargain-basement price here.

(Thanks Dave!)

This is a pretty common fixture in most 99 Cent stores I've been to. Tape usually though, but does it really matter for this??

The video from this album (not this song) is even better.

This is obviously an extension of the popularity that was achieved when William "The Refridgerator" Perry rapped with the '86 Bears on THE SUPER BOWL SHUFFLE.

Man, if only Jimmy Superfly Snuka or The Junkyard Dog had come out with albums.......what a beautiful world this would be.......

I'm pretty sure that's Wembley in the first verse - big arena in north London.

Great song, though. I was definitely in on the harmonies by the chorus.
