Bloc Party Philly Show Postponed

From Sean at R5 Productions:

"Unfortunately after moving the show from the first unitarian church to the starlight ballroom and then selling it out again, Bloc Party has postponed their Philadelphia tour date for tonight Wednesday April 6th.

Their singer Kele completely lost his voice after an exhausting touring schedule.
The band will be making up the Philadelphia date sometime in mid-June at The Starlight Ballroom."

No word yet on how this will affect the remaining New York and DC dates.

Comments

According to label, the NYC show won't be affected.

are there any other philly area fans that feel snubbed??? on wed. morn i spied on the r5 productions the postponement and just KNEW that the above comment was a foregone conclusion. there are TWO shows in nyc. put half of the new yorkers in the position philly fans are in. ALSO----i think this is the only american show to sell out twice. thanks again, band mngmt for showing so little love for this obviously dedicated fanbase.
---mid june??? come back and play for us on sunday the 10th before you jet back to england for more shows...show some respect.
