music.for-robots proudly announces the upcoming release of MFR001: music for robots: vol. 1, available later this month. to celebrate the release of the CD (more details below), the Knitting Factory is hosting a CD release party for us, featuring live performances from MFR favorites:

the show/party is Thursday, May 26th at the Knitting Factory NYC, doors at 8:00 pm. tickets are 10$ (that's less than two bucks a band!) and can be [purchased online] or at the Knit's box office.
the CD itself is a monster 19-track compilation, featuring new, unreleased or advance music from some of our MFR all-stars, plus a few new faces. the roster includes rock-solid lineup of unsigned and signed acts hailing from labels like Vice Records, Lexoleum, Quannum, Plug Research, Modular People, et al. the full list is:
