Project Blowed - What the F*ck is You

here's a quickie.

Aceyalone works hard. for over a decade, he's run a weekly open-mic at his 4343 Leimert Blvd in LA, which got big enough that it evolved into what is now Project Blowed, and moved up the street to a bigger venue. the scene became so essential that it saw the nearly entire LA underground at one time or another, as participants or permanent members. now the Project has released a 10th-year anniversary album, on their own Project Blowed Recordings, featuring a huge roster of west-coast essential names: Busdriver, Pigeon John, Mikah 9 (from the Fellowship), and of course Aceyalone to name a few. track features Ace, Riddlore, Abstract Rude, MFR Vol. 1 alumni Busdriver and Rifleman. you can order the 21-track monster CD [here].

nice to see some of Acey/Blowed action on here. just to clarify though he doesn't run Project Blowed. my man Ben Caldwell's space at the KAOS network is used and J-Smoov has been one of the main organizers for as long as I can remember. nitpicking huh?
