We've posted a lot of music videos here on MFR. Far from dying, the breed is only getting better. A new DVD compilation out now by No Parachute debuted at the Athens Popfest last month. Tonight you're invited to a free screening at Space 1026 in Philadelphia.

Culling the best of independent music videos No Parachute has provided a forum for artists you can't see on television including Architecture in Helsinki, The Clientele, Entre Rios, Kimya Dawson, Le Mans, The Hidden Cameras, and Of Montreal. The show starts at 8 pm, and I hear there'll be a popcorn eating contest. You might want to bring some floss and something to sit on.

I know this is short notice; it was for me too. If you live in Philly you should get out for it. If not, order the DVD here.

POSTSCRIPT:
If you hadn't noticed it's been a really long time since I last posted. Having been without any connection to the internets or phone for so long I am anxious to get out the word on here about things that have been piling up in my mailbox. That said, my access to such things will remain spotty for the next month or so as I make my way back to Philly. In LA now, I will be traveling up the west coast to Vancouver and then east on my motorcycle. If anyone can offer a floor or couch to sleep on between Washington and Minnesota it would be very much appreciated. Please contact me through the site - preferably not in the comments.
