So Long Lou

Rest in Peace Lou Rawls who just passed away this morning. Lou was there at the beginning of Soul music, which means the beginning of R&B, Funk, Hip-Hop, Reggae, you name it. Always a smooth character. One of my all-time top five favorite songs is "Bring it on Home to Me", which is called Sam Cooke's song, but wouldn't be half as good without Lou Rawls wailing that harmony--and that was just the beginning.
