And they were cheering you on

Bishop Allen is back! I posted a track from them back in December, when I couldn't stop listening to Things Are What You Make Of Them. That's still the case, but in between listens, there's a new track.

Bishop Allen - Corazon.

This song is from their new EP, January, which is available on their website. I haven't heard it, but I'm excited to listen to everything this band puts out in the future. In general, their faster, poppier stuff is better, and this slower track is definitely a case in point. I still like it, though, especially the Spoon-like combination of that rhythm section and the band's new piano. (They're very excited about that new piano, according to their website.)

Bishop Allen hails from the mighty Brooklyn neighborhood of Williamsburg, and their record Charm School is totally great. You should order it.
And the January EP only costs five bucks, including shipping. So what are you waiting for?

Yah for Bishop Allen!!! I too have been a huge fan of Bishop Allen since I first heard Things Are What You Make of Them. Not only are they excellent, but they are consistently excellent. I hope their next album lives up to my expectations :p

I discovered Bishop Allen through this website, and fell in love with the two records you posted. I recently browsed their website and came across their Corazon tune which proved and instant hit as well. Much appreciated for helping me find my way to this very special band. Thanks!
