Making misery out of fun

As I mentioned previously, my little iBook G4 up and died a couple weeks ago, meaning I'm sharing a computer with my fiancée, in turn meaning my laziness has become even lazier. So I apologize for my absence on the site, though, as always, the other robots have been more than awesome the whole time.
Anyway, I'm so glad it's Friday, even more than usual, which is saying something. So why not listen to some lovely pop from our old friends Yo La Tengo?
This is a track that the band and Matador posted online recently, from Yo La Tengo's upcoming record (wait for it .... wait for it ....) I Am Not Afraid Of You And I Will Beat Your Ass, out Sept. 12.
Fun, right? I love that pounding piano, the trombone, all of it. And there's something about Ira Kaplan's vocals that always make me smile, though I'm not sure exactly what it is.
And... alright, you'll have to humor me here, but is it just me, or does the chorus of this track sound like the chorus of the Perfect Strangers theme song?
Now we do the dance of joy!
