The Cherry Tempo - In Hindsight I Know.

I keep waking up earlier and earlier. There's a constant feeling of having to get things done -- not in a negative way, but in the sense that there's work to do and I want to be doing it. So here I am, at the crack of dawn, working away. It's nice to have a song like this one to wake up to. It's got that steady, driving indie beat that fuels concentration, inspires getting shit done.

I don't know anything about The Cherry Tempo. As far as I can tell, they're four dudes from New Mexico. That's where the story ends. Sometimes that's how I like it. If I get too bombarded with "they sound like a cross between this band and that one" it clouds the judgment. With something like this, I just get the song. And with a song like this it's all I need. I like the production quite a bit -- the vocals panned to the right, the compressed drums. It's a nice package.

You can order their album direct from the band. I think it was released just this Tuesday, but they haven't updated their site in a few days. It's tough to say. Highly Recommended though.
