Track 2: Clogs - I Used to Do
Today, we bring you the sweet melodic music of the Clogs as Track 2 of the Brassland/MFR online EP. The Clogs are a four-person, part-time improvisational and part-time compositional from the US and the land down under, and while their instrumentation is somewhat folk in nature, their sound is very progressive. Their album will be released on vinyl in the near future on AIM Records.
The members of the Clogs are all over the map this summer. They have two tour dates: Fri Aug 11 2006 in New Canaan, CT at Silvermine Guild Arts and Aug 19th in NYC, at the East River Music Project (w/ Excepter). Beyond that, Padma Newsome & Bryce Dessner (Viola and Guitar) are currently recording with The National, and Bryce will be playing on tour with Sufjan Stevens all over Europe.
You can check out the Clogs at Insound, iTunes, and read more info on Brassland.org.
