Out, in, whatever suits you

Sleep Out - It Wasn't Darkness
When you're on vacation for too long, Tuesday starts to feel like the new hump day. You need things to get you up and moving. For me, today this came in the form of this great song from Sleep Out, which I needed to get off my iPod and onto MFR.
Sleep Out will be joining the slowly growing ranks of artists on Zero One Infinity records, a new digital label being launched by the folks behind March Records. Musically they're a silver bullet for a case of the Tuesdays - guitars getting beaten up in a way that reminds you of Interpol, but deep and resonant vocals that give the romantic nature of this song it's backbone. They even work a xylophone or a glock or something similar in there. At any rate, it's rock for the soul like Mylanta for taco-tummy. Does a body good.
You can listen to and download more songs from the bands site or MySpace page (god damn I hate MySpace). Also, if you're in the windy city, check out their upcoming show at the Subterranean tomorrow, August 16th!
