Alright, look: this thing's been talked about to death, and we here at Music For Robots really don't need to throw in our collective two cents (or is that sixteen cents?). But I've got this fun CD called Venom, and it's by a band called The Awesome Snakes, so how could I not mention the fact that Snakes On A Plane comes out today?
This band is outrageously fun, probably more fun than any of us deserve. But what the hell - it's Friday, and it's rainy in Minneapolis, and starting today Samuel L. Jackson is yelling about "motherfucking snakes on this motherfucking plane," and bands like this make music like this.

The track I really wanted to post is called "P.O.S. vs. The Awesome Snakes," and is a duet with local rapper P.O.S. The fine folks at Crustacean Records, however, nixed that idea, and I can understand that. It's a great track, and why not make people pay for it? It's worth it. You can hear the track on the band's MySpace page, but you should really just order Venom from the Crustacean Records website.
