Tonight In Los Angeles

PostDear music for robots readers,

I will be spinning records tonight at Tangiers in Los Angeles. I have a bunch of new records, and I'm in a dancing mood. So come shake your ass at me. I'll be the one up in the dj booth with the records, dancing.

Tangiers is at the corner of Hillhurst and Los Feliz Blvd, across the street from the Derby. It's a nice joint, and I continue to have fun there. I want you to come. I know you're loyal readers and everything, so why not come out and get crazy? It'll be just like reading the site, but live and with me. I understand that I'm not nearly the DJ that Blair is, but that's what makes us each special, yes?

Also, the evening is in support of 411 Gina, which is a non-profit organization that helps find missing persons. As part of the "squeaky wheel tour," there will be bands that play from 9 until 11, and then I take the decks. For dancing.

Doors open at 8 p.m., tickets are 8 bucks at the door.

Feel free to email me if you want to get in free tonight. I'll put you on my list. Hit me up if you need directions or anything.

I'll be there! I've never heard Blair on the turntables but I've heard you play Hot Chip more than a few times.

This quote comes from a Pulse of the Twin Cities article about the band:
