don't say radiodread!

This is just fun. I can't say I've ever been a big fan of the "celebrity picks" type product, but Trojan Records 40th anniversary does deserve some special treatment I suppose. And anything that gets this music into the ears of more folks is ok in my book. So here we go Trojan Records that mainstay of the reggae has put Radiohead's Johnny Greenwood in charge of the sound system for the night. It's a party.

Delroy Wilson - This Life Makes Me Wonder

Like I said, regardless of how you feel about guest track selectors, this music stands on its own and you know Greenwood knows that. This track is by one of my favorite Trojan acts, Delroy Wilson. The album also includes cuts from the likes of Derrick Harriot, Lee Perry, the Heptones and other great Reggae and dub artists.

Plus, I got to say, I'm a sucker for this cover art. I love the radiohead bear incorporated into the Trojan logo. Maybe it's shameless, but it's working on me all right.

UPDATE: I was wrong. If you go a here you can pre-order the album for $9.99!

Oh, sorry man, but that's british pounds, not dollars. I'm pretty sure it will be available in the States though. Don't spring for the import.
