I was blessed with bad eyes

As a comparison point, Paul Simon gets mentioned a lot these days. Sometimes it's warranted, sometimes it's not, and as a lifelong Paul Simon fan, I'm pretty hesitant to throw his name around. But I hear it here.

Radical Face - Glory.

Radical Face is Ben Cooper, a guy from Jacksonville Beach, Florida. This is from his really good record Ghost, out last February on Morr Music. His songs are full of wonderful, subtle moments, and sounds that slowly emerge until they completely fill the canvas. It's a great collection, and for my money, the best track is "Welcome Home," which is featured on his MySpace page. But "Glory" is good too, and I figured it was a good way to start the week.

Pick up Ghost from your favorite online retailer.

This is a nice album, though the middle section is a little boring.
