Class for Robots

Clogs - Pencil Stick

Sometimes we gotta take a break from the bloops, bleeps and jangle here at music for robots, and settle in for some neo classical. One of my favorite bands in the Genre is Clogs on Brassland. Coincidentally, the band shares members with the National, but their sound in entirely different - mostly built around Padme Newsome's viola.

I bring them up today because they've got a cool string of dates in NYC coming up - it'll help you hipster kids add a little culture to your lives outside of canned beer and mustaches. If you've never seen them live you should check it. They're really amazing.

Thursday, April 5 - Cincinnati, OH - MusicNOW Festival
Monday, April 23 - New York, NY - Filmmaker's Coop Benefit @ Angel Orensanz Center for the Arts
Saturday, May 5 - New York, NY - 2007 Look & Listen Festival @ Betty Cunningham Gallery
Sunday, June 3 – New York, NY - Bang on a Can Marathon @ World Financial Center

I resent that, dude. Canned beer and mustaches have spurned more great songs than opium and fu manchus over the course of history in my opinion. now, if they'd can opium then we could talk.

wonderful song, but why at 56kps/22khz!?

I wanted to hear this in full, blazing, 160 kps mp3-compressed sound! ;)

Why, I guess I will just have to buy their record!
