I'm not the brutal man you used to know

ferreby lionheart

With a name like Ferraby Lionheart, you're not sure what you're gonna get. Overzealous bluegrass band? Metal duo with medieval England obsession? Luckily, it's a talented singer-songwriter with one just-released EP and a full record on the way.

Ferraby Lionheart - The Fighter.

Though his EP has some nice folk-pop tunes, this track was my favorite. And even though it's been done before - most notably on Ben Folds Five's "Boxing" - I really like the punch-drunk sound for its boxer analogy. It doesn't hurt that he sounds like a young Jon Brion, either. Originally from Nashville, Ferraby now resides in L.A. He used to be in a band called Telecast, and released this Self-Titled EP in February. His first full-length, Catch The Brass Ring, will be out in September on Nettwerk.

You can get a copy of Self-Titled EP here.

Comments

This comment doesn't really have anything to do with Lionheart, though he is quite awesome. i posted this comment a couple of days ago and had no luck, so i figured a more recent comment would be seen:

Hey, do you still have Large T's left?
And if I'm up in Canada, am I a domestic shipping person, or an international person?
thanks, and keep up the fantastic work
