The Fox is making a comeback...

Not that Kitsuné (one of my favorite labels) ever really fell off, but there was certainly a time not long ago when I wondered if things were on a downslope. How could they keep the quality control as high as (what I consider) their peak, the Digitalism "Zdarlight" single? Maison 2? Not so great. 3 was good, but not essential.
The point is that I think the label has been doing very well recently, and their latest compilation, Kitsuné Maison 4, shows it. The compilation has tracks from Darkel, Foals, Passions, Riot In Belgium remixed by Adam Sky, Guns N' Bombs, Crystal Castles, the aussie team Midnight Juggernauts remixing Dragonette, the Boyz Noise remix of Feist (easily one of my favorite tracks of 2007), as well as a hidden Phones track, among others. Basically it adds up to awesome, and should help you keep the faith.
Go visit my friends over at Dazed Digital (the online version of Dazed & Confused magazine) for a killer downloadable megamix version of the whole compilation - it is actually really well put together, and well worth grabbing.
Kitsuné Maison 4 comes out June 11th, so expect to hear more about it soon.
Boom!
