Time for another superb remix from Jay Drake, a.k.a. Cassettes Won't Listen, this time of locals/fellow Brooklynites Dirty On Purpose. The original version of this song is a sweet, light, playful little summer jam; the CWL version maintains the delicate feel of the original version and adds the bold masterful electronic touch I've come to expect from Drake's production style. While I dig the original DOP version as a great play-in-your-friend's-convertible mixtape, this remix is guaranteed to make you 20% more zippy than everyone else during your morning train ride, and keep you moving with purpose and pep all day. Plus I don't know anyone with a convertible, so strict matters of utility and limited iPod space have me listening to the remix more often right now.

On a related note, Cassettes Won't Listen just finished up a new full-length recording, and you can bet we'll get some of that to you when the time comes. We robots are all excited for it.
