I don't want to break down the door

There's a certain style of bombastic, melodic rock that just really does it for me. I don't really know how to explain it better than that, but it's the kind of music that, say, At The Drive-In (R.I.P.) used to make, or the songs that Queens of the Stone Age and Foo Fighters still make. And while this band is admittedly more indie than modern rock, they've got that loud pop thing going on. I love it.
Turbo Fruits - that's Jonas Stein on guitars and vocals, Max Peebles on bass, and John Eatherly on drums - hail from Nashville. This track comes from their self-titled debut, out July 17 on Ecstatic Peace. It's really quite good, full of everything you want a rock record to be. They remind me of The Who in some ways, with their crazy drums, chiming guitars, and sweet melodies. They also have awesome song titles, like "20th I Was Blue" and "Devo Girl," so you really can't lose.
Order Turbo Fruits from Ecstatic Peace when it's out on July 17.
