More Contests? Shut up and dance...

Saturday night is a good night for a dance party, and the boys from Cut and the folks at Modular are bringing the noise this time around. The party features a Chicago vs. NYC main event, with Green Velvet and Alexander Technique playing in the main room, along with the Trouble & Bass DJs, the Captain and Shark. Plus, Modular is hosting a VIP room, in which I'll be playing some jams along with Andee Van Damage and the Modular DJ-squad. So that will be awesome. Crazy-awesome.
If you want to come to the party, but can't shell out the $8 (with RSVP at going.com/cutnyc) or $15 at the door, I'll get you in there - just send me an email, blair (at) music.for-robots.com with "Hands Up" in the subject-line, and I'll randomly pick two winners, each of whom will get a plus-one. Werd.
Now, with more Modular on the brain, I've got another sweet New Young Pony Club "Ice Cream" remix to give you, this time by Parisian producer Popular Computer. Think actual "electro" beats with sweet computer synths, paired with the band's myspace "Influences: Vodka, Cake and Emotion" - so rad.
Ice Cream (Popular Computer Remix) (high-bitrate for you deejays...)

Speaking of rad, how about another Modular giveaway? Would you like a copy of their album, Fantastic Playroom, some stickers and a NYPC tote-bag? Yes. Yes you do. Hit me with "NYPC" in the subject line and I'll randomly draw TWO entries from an actual hat. Do it by Friday so I can prepare a killer DJ-set for the party and not have to worry about blog-world on the weekend. Contests are closed!
Boom!
