Because robots need love too

And no, this time I'm not talking about us (though we love getting the love, obviously. what robot wouldn't?). I'm talking about our old (young) friends, the almost-now-100%-of-voting-age wünderkinders we call Hysterics. You know, those kids we've written about for quite some time now? They even got signed to V2 at one point, before the label had to start dropping artists and staff left and right. Now they're almost all out of school, playing around NYC, and sound better every time I hear 'em. But wait! They've gone from MP3 to MPG, thanks to their friend (and another former student of mine) Griffin Hunter-Newman, whose additional works are viewable on his YouTube page. On the music front, you can order the self-released Hysterics CD from CDBaby.

Anyhow, this video goes five for five in my book: robot, love interest, great song, good moral to the story, and high production value (despite the fact that none of the folks involved can buy beer yet). So here's some robot love and longing for your Friday: enjoy!
