This is the end

This is it folks, the last-ever Avenue D show here in NYC. That's right, after six years of playing shows from Tokyo to Oslo and pretty much everywhere in between, the ladies have decided to retire from the crazy world of show business.

The show is at a pretty small venue (just like the old days!), Area 51 in Williamsburg, so if you want to get in, get there early on Saturday night! I'll be playing after their performance, so you can just keep dancing after they're done.

Be there.

ED: Photo update - see the Punk Photo post about the show (with video!) here, and Robot Anders' photos here.Amazing night!

It's the end of an era... But what an amazingly fun era it was! We'll miss you, Avenue D.

My pictures from the show: http://www.flickr.com/photos/thraxil/sets/72157603353236582/

I had some trouble because my lens kept steaming up from the heat and humidity in the room.
