I just want to see his face

I just spent ten days in Boston for the holidays, and I'm not too excited to be back in Minnesota. This is mainly because it's approximately three hundred degrees below zero, but also because my car wouldn't start when I rediscovered it, covered in snow and layers of ice (both me and the car).
It was also hard to come back because my wife is still there, and we had an awesome time seeing friends and family. One of the best parts was listening to the same mix CD over and over again in the car, a mix CD that features this song by AA Bondy.
AA Bondy - Rapture (Sweet Rapture).
When you can hear a song over and over again without getting sick of it, you know the writer did something right. Bondy's record American Hearts is folk-country in the way Ryan Adams' early work was folk-country: you believe what he's singing because he believes it. His songs have layers of dirt and sawdust on them, but there's sincerity and genuineness below, and the mixture is intriguing.
You can order AA Bondy's record American Hearts from his label, Superphonic Records.
