I wanna live in a mansion!

How's that weekend looking to you? You can smell it, right? You can hear it whispering your name, beckoning from the other side of bullshit. "Hey you," it's cooing, "stop doing that job-related task. Shake your booty!" Ssion understands your pain. Ssion would like to help.
Oh hot damn! I've listened to this one many times since it arrived in my in-box. It's glorious, and it does everything a great pop song should do. It also sounds like Prince fronting ABBA, which granted sounds kind of terrible, but this - this is your weekend telling you to call in sick.
Coincidentally (or is it?), ABBA had a hits record called Gold, and Ssion's new album is called Fool's Gold. Would you believe this came from Kansas City? Me neither, but it's the truth. Ssion, which is pronounced "shun," is primarily singer Cody Critcheloe and producer/co-writer J.A.M. Their music runs solely on sex, mustaches, and magic. It will one day end wars. Ssion is part of a genre I hereby name electrostache. You're welcome, America.
You can buy Fool's Gold from Sleazetone Records (yes, Sleazetone Records) on February 12.
