signal to trust

Look, my advice for this one? Just let it happen to you. Picture what's being described, tap your foot to the clapping and stomping, notice later that the melody is lodged in your head. This song's an experience.

Signal To Trust - Silver Coast.

Signal To Trust is from Minnesota, and it consists of Pete, Ben, Brian, David, and Holly. This song is from their record Golden Armour, out now on Modern Radio. Honestly? I haven't heard it. I heard this track on the Radio K compilation, which you can pick up for free at - dear lord - ANY EVENT ANYWHERE. Seriously, it's like they made way too many of these things. It's a good compilation, though, and Radio K is definitely worth supporting.

Anyway, I love this song. It's in my favorite genre of indie rock, the one in which everything is on the verge of completely exploding, and something - hubris? Manic energy? Rawk? - is barely keeping it all together. And even though it doesn't make sense, it makes sense.

Golden Armour came out way back in 2006, but the band recently did a split 7" with labelmates STNNNG.
