T-T-T-T-Tequila

Cof Cof - Caribbean Boy.

What a breath of fresh air. This is what happens when you have "beer before making music," as the band themselves say. The bounce of that bass, the chime of the guitar, the synth xylo. What's not to like? It's all about the party, and here, on a not-hot-as-fuck Tuesday, it's the type of thing that makes the day all that much better. I mean, I was already in a good mood today, but this is just pushing me over the edge.

I don't know what to tell you about Cof Cof, other than that they're from Spain and feature a boy and a girl who like to hold hands in their photographs. They bottle up Mediterranean sunshine and squirt it all over the tracks. They capture that late-afternoon Sunday party vibe and compact it into one three-minute song. Honestly, it's exactly what we all need to kick off the summer.

What's even better is that you can download their whole album from their myspace page. I highly recommend checking it out.

Nice little song. The guitar sounds sort of west African to me.
