RVNG RTRNS

Wade Nichols - Horse With No Shame

Our buddies over at the house of RVNG are back with a brand new twelve inch of edits, this time courtesy of Wade Nichols, who has been part of the totally genius Mindless Boogie edit series, as well as remixing our mate Lindstrøm, among other things.

Clearly you will recognize this edit from the original America song - a Dad Rock (aka Yacht Rock*) classic track - but the edit bumps up the bass and kick, and really takes things off into space. The other tracks on the EP are, really, just as excellent, but I figured I'd feature this song since the back cover is so awesome.

The 12" is, like all the RVNG of the NRDS EPs, very limited - 1100 copies for the world - so pick up your copy of RVNG of the NRDS Vol. 5 now, direct from RVNG here, or visit your local record shop, like our friends at the Turntable Lab, Other Music, and Kim's, here in NYC.

Oh, and speaking of going off into space, our friends at No Ordinary Monkey are doing their do at Love tomorrow night. AND don't forget, we're presenting Thee Wurst Boat Party next week - you can still get pre-sale tickets here. We'll be doing giveaways and numerous free drinks for you guys, so get on board. Ahoy!

*Speaking of Yacht Rock, stay tuned to this space, as we've got a wicked surprise for you guys, come August.

Cool one. Not a much different version, but in a nice way.

Yeah, it helps to listen to the song on something with real bass response, as that's where the big difference is - massive kick drums!
