Saturday in NYC is Prime Time
This Saturday night, my friends Eamon Harkin and James F!@#$%^ Friedman have their second Prime Time party at LOVE, AKA the best soundsystem in the city, and they've got Soma-head and remixer/producer-extraordinaire Ewan Pearson coming over from the UK for a very special guest appearance.
They've billed the party as "a showcase for classically-minded yet forward-thinking dance music, irrespective of genres" so you can expect to hear the music that turns them on, like disco, house, and techno, and the things that cross between them. The party is $12 at the door, or $10 in advance with RSVP (rsvp@primetime-nyc.com)
In order to get you in the mood for said party, I've got not one, but TWO DJ mixes for you! One by Eamon and James, recorded at the first Prime Time party back in May, and another by Ewan Pearson himself, sort of "a heads up, here I come NYC!"
