Sam Champion - Be Mine Everyone

For me, the game depicted in this video will never get old. Something about the simplicity of fucking with your friends is timeless. So it's with that old game that Sam Champion finally snuck up on me. They've been recommended to me by friends for years, and I've always kind of brushed them off. But when I see them in the context of this non sequitur video it all starts to come together.

The story goes that they have a new album coming out. It's called Heavenly Blender, and it's a lot of fun. It's just good old fashioned american music, which is sometimes necessary. If you want to hear a song from it, the one I posted. is pretty great. It's got some sweet fuzz bass in it and a nice little riff.

In order to roll out this new record, they've made this neat little videos. There's three more where this one came from, and they're all pretty funny. The final one will be released after the record comes out, and I'm told it's hilarious. I think in this day and age it's little shit like this that helps separate you from the pack. It doesn't hurt that they've finally made an album worthy of their potential.
